ASM 2025 ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

 

Please read all the details below carefully regarding your oral presentation preparation guidelines

  • A total of 10 minutes is allocated to the oral presentations including 3 minutes of questions.
  • You can do your oral presentation with or without using PowerPoint. (Please note that your poster/s will be placed in the Poster hanging area with the other posters and not in the Oral presentation room.
  • All oral presenters are required to upload the PDF version of their PPT presentation on our website by Monday the 26th of May 2025. The link to upload the presentations online is https://iap-aus-conference.org.au/speakers-powerpoints/ While doing so, presenters will be asked to sign and upload the signed consent form for each presentation, which states that they consent to us posting their presentations on our website for delegates to view.
  • In addition to uploading the PPT Presentations on our website, all speakers need to bring their PPT presentations on a USB to the venue and report to the Speaker Preparation area located on level 2 in Parkside 1 Ballroom of the International Convention Centre next to the IAP registration desk at least 2 hours before their scheduled presentation is due.
  • The venue uses 16:9 format. Therefore presentations should be made in 16:9 widescreen format.
  • Speakers using Apple Mac Computers, please note:  Our AV people have advised us that anyone using an Apple Mac Computer for their presentation should bring their laptop in case of an issue uploading the PowerPoint presentation onto the room screen.
  • Please read the Poster Presentation guidelines at https://iap-aus-conference.org.au/asm2025-poster-preparation-guidelines as all Oral Poster Presenters will be taking part in Poster Presentations as well.
